3-4. General Conference comp. Photo shoot.
We had a super solid week this week. We work very hard getting back in to teach people that we have found in the past weeks. Which took time away from actually finding new people, but ultimately it was still all super worth it because we were able to help a lot of people make plans to get baptized. One of the families that we taught this week (that we also invited to be baptized), we had a very very interesting lesson with them. The lesson went over, like 25 minutes more than it was suppose to because the dad just wouldn't stop talking about Catholisism! ;) I learned a ton about that church though. Pretty interesting stuff. The dad has been reading the Book of Mormon tho a lot, and just got to chapter 11 where Nefi sees the vision of the virgin Mary and was talking about how much he liked the book now because of how it talks about the virgin. (Which we know is not the whole purpose of the book, but at least he's reading and he'll soon get to chap 13 and realize there's so much more goodness.) But please pray for the Enriqez Family! They are a fantastic family, they just are trapped in traditions!
We also went on a hike today for p-day which was super-duper fun. We went to a place called Idyllwild, it was like a 40 minute drive to it, but was well worth it. Now I'm super sore, but it was still very very fun. I'll send a pic of that.
Things are over all going great here. We have lots of people to teach, lots more to find, and blessings of the Lord to push us along to those miracles.
