Hey there everyone... how is it going.
Like I said last week, today I don't wanna disappoint you all with a crappy email, so I'm writing this one first thing in the morning.
Got to meet President Stansbury!! He is super awesome and me cae muyy bien. We had zone conferences and talked a lot about the sacrament meeting, not only for our friends, but for us as individuals and taking the sacrament. So that was cool. And also we had our first interviews with president and got to know him a little better and honestly I am super exited to be able to work with him!! Gonna be great.
Kinda sad, and I forgot to mention it earlier is that we went to visit a friend that we havent had contact in for like over a month almost 2, and we knocked on her door. And nobody answered and so we were like saying her name, "Isabel, Isabel". And this kid (her grandson), opens the window. And he's like what do you need, and I was like, "is Isabel here??" And hes like, no she passed away last month. And I was honestly like super sad about that. And I felt pretty bad, because we had stopped teaching her because she wasn't really progressing, and also hadn't visited her in like a while, and so never got to say goodbye and what not. She also never got baptized, but she was a super beleiver in God, and we even listened to conference with her. But also she was super sick, and her life was pretty miserable. And we were able to give her a blessing too so I feel good about that, and know she is in a much better state than before. But in general it was just kinda sad.
Got to help a lady for like 5 days in a row with her chuΓ±o... and got to finally pisar chuΓ±o after 4 months here in Puno, so that was a fun experience.
Not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of being here in the same are for a lot of time. There's some cool aspects. Like I've seen a lot of changes from when I first arrived. But it also has left me feeling a little bit discouraged, because I feel like I know all the members and they know me, and none of our friends are really progressing, and it feels like there's just not much work. (I know that's all not true, but sometimes it feels like it.)
And to make it worse the sacrament meeting are kinda sucky. Not like the ordinance, but the fact that at 10:00 when the meeting starts, there are 4 members. And we have had 0 friends (investigators) come to church in the last 2 weeks. And only 2 converts came this week. So thats been a real bummer.

Spiritual section:Anyways to continue on about the discouragement. So I was talking with my companion and we came to the conclusion that maybe it because we need to learn something. And the obvious thing is patience. But I feel like I have been learning pretty good patience with my companions. And something that's come to my mind is humility. To know that really this isn't our work. And that it doesn't matter how bad we want something, because if we don't submit ourselves to the will of the Father that it really doesn't matter what we want. And so I think that when we get all bummy about situations it doesn't help because that means we care more about what we want than what God wants. And so I really am trying to be more humble in that sense. Also in my first interview with President Stansbury, we talked about humility for other (more personal) reasons. And so I think that humility is something that God is wanting me to learn right now. Anyways my invitation is that yall can always be humble and kind.
