Wherein Lane Goes to the Provo MTC.

     Sorry I didn't send one last week, but it was a pretty super busy week, and so hopefully i don't get in to much trouble from my mom... Well a little update for all of you guys! I finally finished all of my home MTC which I was super glad about, the classes were 6-10 hours per day and I just had to sit in my room and watch a computer screen all day and it just was basically just the worse! I was obviously super excited to get to the MTC in person and get to meet my awesome companion and district and finally get away from my family after all or this time! Jk fam! Well basically it was actually not 100% awesome being done with home MTC because I had to say a lot of good byes and I was pretty sad for a while, but a little miracle is that I was able to be comforted and have a good experience coming here and now I'm here and everything is chill! When I got here we got all of our bags unpacked and I finally got to meet my district on person... they are all super chill which is awesome! We also got these crappy android phones which suck but they're better than writing on a piece of paper as my dad would say! The food here kinda sucky not gonna lie but I'm always starving and I've eaten so much!!! Everything is going good here!! Anyways I probably totally forgot a lot of important things but it sounds good to me, so ill talk to you guys next week!! 🌱🌊 

     Spiritual section: So we've been reading about the restoration and my spiritual thought is James 1 5-6 which is what Joseph Smith read that prompted him to basically restore the true church to the earth!! It is a really powerful promise that we all have access to as we have questions or problems! Just ask the Lord and have faith!!!! Well thanks for reading!!! Wherein Lane Begins Home MTC!

     Hey guys, I was pretty nervous about officially starting my mission, but it is super cool, and I think it is so awesome that I finally get to be a missionary! I've been waiting for this for 18+ years. Home MTC isn't too bad, I am getting used to my classes and schedule, and I guess that we will see how everything is going in a few more days, but so far it is not too bad. Mi compañero, Élder Wood, is low-key super awesome!! I can’t wait to actually get into the MTC and hang out with him and everyone else from my district! I was hoping that I wouldn’t have weird people in my district and my hopes came true cuz they are all chill. I did have to sit in a chair for like over 7 hours today tho, so that kinda sucked! But I am excited for the next couple of weeks and then to eventually go to Perú! 🌱🌊 

     Spiritual section: So we learned a lot of cool things today and read a lot about being a missionary, but one of my favorite things is when we talked about all of the blessings of being a missionary, and we have so many of them! But trike don’t worry guys because you don’t have to be a set apart missionary to get all of those blessings because you can be a missionary at any time or place! So I encourage all of you guys to be missionaries in your life because then you will get like super duper awesome blessings and like always have the Holy Ghost with you which is the best thing that you can do for yourself. Anyways, That’s all for my first day, I’ll like text you again on P-day!
