PARTY BABY!!!
Wooo hooo!!! Just kidding... There were actually no parties this week! Sorry if I just absolutely bamboozeled you with that title. Just my wishful thinking. Ma bad
Buuuut... this was still a great week!! We're teaching some dope people, all of which are kinda progressing slowly, but slowly is better that not, and with every lesson they are understanding more and more, and it's cool to see each friend individually growing!!
We did go to Chincheros finally this week!! First some background... our area is massive (like 8ish hours lengthwise) and we mainly focus our work in the city of Talavera, because that's where the most members are and where the church is. But there's also a city about 1.5ish hours away called Chincheros, where there are a few members as well. They are trying to start a family branch there eventually, but they need more priesthood than they have, and for that, us missionaries actually have to be there to teach them. So this week we went there with a family, and it was awesome!! We got a cool bus ride with amazing views, and got to teach a few people!! Safe to say we'll be headed back in the future!
Umm besides going there, this week was pretty bland. I dont think we have too much planned for this Pday.
Also transfers were supposed to be on Saturday, but they got pushed back, so next week I'll let you guys know where I am.

Spiritual section: I think my main thought, especially for other missionaries, is that sometimes you don't have 50 families lined up at the font waiting to be baptized, but rather you have maybe just 1 friend, who is slowly learning but truly understanding the gospel and love of Jesus Christ, and I think that those types of conversions are even better! We often push our teachings to try and "reach goals" which can be great don't get me wrong, but this week we had a couple lessons where instead of teaching an entire lesson, we teach just one or two principles, but really have a good discussion with our friends and help them understand everything way better!
Just sometimes, slow and steady is better i believe.
If we focus on actually bringing these souls unto Christ, how great will be our joy!!
