Hi all!! Happy Father's Day!
Just out here in Uruguay sleeping with 2-liter bottles of hot water to keep me warm at night lol
Ana said a firm no to being baptized now. We decided to just love her and her daughters and maybe things will change eventually. Had a tea party with them! It's ok to be disappointed but we won't get discouraged. We are working hard to work with the members and find those who are ready to hear the gospel.
Recently I've eaten horse and capybara-not too bad! 
The other day we went to visit our mission leader and his wife who have gone inactive. I've been pretty frustrated with them and was preparing to just go in there and call them out, promise them blessings, and not hear one more excuse and just give a short lesson to their abuela about the restauración. But when we went in, we had the impresión to sing the song "Abide with Me, Tis Eventide" with them and then the Spirit lead me to share a scripture with them about the Atonement. (Alma 26:33). I realized after that lesson that everyone just needs love. Christ's sacrifice was not only for our sins but for our paíns and afflictions too! He understands it all! He did it because He loves us!
Everyone here keeps asking if we've adapted to the cold and like no, but also I think we are more adapted than them. They refuse to go to church or go out after 6 or do anything because "hace demasiado frio"! What do they do? Put their lives on hold all winter? We are out here walking in the streets till 9pm!! Haha. We just abriguise and orar! ("throw on a coat and pray")
This week I will hit 7 months as a missionary and we have interviews this week and cambios the next! Life here as a missionary in Uruguay is a good life full of learning and growing!
