Wherein Sadie is Sweating All Day Long!

 Howdy!! It's sooo hot here! Like already sweating before you can dry off from the shower type of hot. The other day there wasn't even a little bit of a breeze and it was suffocating being outside, but la obra no para. There are people to save! Jesus Christ went about doing good all the time not just when it was perfectly nice outside. So we will too, but with lots of water and sunscreen. It's just a mental game. Tell yourself you're in a nice sauna and it's really not too bad. Embrace the sweat. 

Some things we did this week:

-Went to Montevideo for leadership council

-Had zone conference and gave some capacitaciones (me cuesta mucho)

- set a baptismal date for Miranda

-lesson with the cutest 7-year-old who said excitedly "Espera...Jesucristo me conoce?" (Wait....Jesus knows me?)

-finally had friends come to church!! 5 milagros!

-sweated a lot

-gave the middle part another shot

-awesome lessons of the plan of salvation and the Sacrament

In leadership council, something we talked about was the Sacrament. We usually say that we go and take the sacrament. It is true, we are taking it and remembering what Jesus Christ has given us and renewing our covenants and receiving blessings, but we are also offering something. Our time, our broken heart, to always remember Him, represent Him, keep His commandments, and other things. To change and to receive blessings, we need to sacrifice something. We need to separate ourselves from the world. 

D&C 59:8-9

8 Thou shalt offer a sacrifice unto the Lord thy God in righteousness, even that of a broken heart and a contrite spirit. 

9 And that thou mayest more fully keep thyself unspotted from the world, thou shalt go to the house of prayer and offer up thy sacraments upon my holy day
